Broiler chicken farming offers economic opportunities due to its short production cycle and high demand for chicken meat. However, business income is influenced by production costs, revenue, management efficiency, and production risks. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility and income of broiler chicken farming in Muwi Village, Dompu District, and explore farmers’ experiences in managing costs, revenue, risks, and business sustainability. Using a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving one business owner and two workers. Data were analyzed through data reduction, presentation, thematic analysis, and conclusion drawing, with cost and revenue data used as supporting information. The findings show that revenue in one production cycle exceeded recorded costs, indicating positive economic conditions. Interviews further revealed that operational cost management, chicken health, input and selling price fluctuations, and risk management influence business income and sustainability. The study provides practical insights for improving cost efficiency, business management, and risk anticipation. However, the findings are limited to one business unit and one production cycle and therefore cannot be generalized to all broiler farmers in Muwi Village.
